2026 Women's History Month
Cover Series
“Through Her Lens” cover series features women I’ve had the honor of photographing, presented magazine-style. This is bigger than a photo. This is a celebration of the beauty and strength of women, no matter the age, the background, the title, or the season. Soft or strong. Loud or quiet. Healing or thriving. Established or still becoming. Every woman carries a story. Every woman carries a legacy. And through my lens, I want you to see what I see: grace, power, and purpose woven into the details.

Introducing my first cover: Faith. When I look at her, I don’t just see my daughter. I see a beautiful young woman, my legacy in motion. I see the prayers, the sacrifices, the lessons, and the love that made room for her to become. I love that she's learning early how to walk in her own light, boldness, and use her voice. This is Faith… and this is the legacy continuing. 🤍🌿

This young woman of purpose has a gentle spirit and a kind heart. She’s the kind of young woman who doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. Her presence speaks. She is navigating her way through life one step at a time, learning, growing, and becoming. What I love most is that she carries herself with a quiet steadiness, the kind that comes from character, not applause. The strongest thing a young woman can do is keep showing up with grace, keep choosing what’s right.

Today’s cover feature is Dr. Leslie Tatum, a woman who leads with excellence and lives a life anchored in love and grace. She carries herself with a strength that doesn’t have to be loud to be felt, and a softness that makes people feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether she’s leading, writing, or simply showing up for others…her life reflects purpose in motion. What I admire about her is how her impact isn’t limited to what she’s accomplished, but how she pours into others.

Today’s cover feature is Kristajah, a young woman who is a delightful blend of whimsy and quirky. What I love about this young woman is her personality. Her innocence, thoughtfulness, inquisitive nature, and how she expresses herself. She reminds me that strength doesn’t have to announce itself. Sometimes it’s soft, calm, still, and doesn’t need to prove anything. It just is. 🤍🌿

Today’s cover feature is Aishwarya and this image captures what she carries so naturally: elegance with strength beneath it. She is a woman whose positive energy is felt the moment she enters a room. She’s loving, disciplined, and full of joy, but what I admire most is her heart, pure, kind, and steady. She pours into her life with intention, and she pours into others without hesitation. Like many of us, she has weathered storms, but most importantly, she keeps moving forward.

Today’s cover feature is Kaliyah, a young woman who keeps defying the odds. She is proof that there is strength in femininity. She’s kind, caring, nurturing, and the kind of “girl’s girl” who celebrates and advocates for other women and means it! One should never mistake her kindness for weakness. This intelligent, hardworking young lady knows what she stands for. 🤍🌿

Today’s cover feature is Dr. Yvette Jackson, a woman whose presence feels like warmth, and whose spirit reflects strength with grace. She is a woman who leads with consistency, kindness, and quiet confidence. A woman who makes you feel seen, not just spoken to. She is beautiful inside and out, and the kind of woman whose light doesn’t flicker when the room gets dark. 🤍🌿

Today’s cover feature is Zeni, and this image feels like a reminder to breathe. She is loving, sweet, honest, and giving. She carries a pure heart with pure intentions and doesn’t want to leave anyone behind. Her kindness makes room for others who brings people with her that shows up in a way that feels real and authentic. There’s a softness to her presence that doesn’t come from fragility, it comes from strength. The kind that’s rooted. The kind that’s steady. The kind that leads with love.

Today’s cover feature is Brittany, and this portrait is a whole mood: soft, bold, and unforgettable. Brittany is one of those rare friendships that didn’t stay in the “friend” category. She became family to me, the kind of sister you choose with your whole heart. And the love I have for her and her boys is deep, steady, and real, the kind that doesn’t need an explanation. What I admire most is how she loves and shows up for her family…fully and unapologetically.

As we close out Women’s History Month and Sisterhood Month, I’m ending where the number leads: a Proverbs 31 kind of salute. Not perfection, not performance, just real women living real purpose. I honored pieces of myself too, because legacy isn’t just where we come from, it’s what we carry forward. That’s why Proverbs 31 fits. She is clothed with strength and dignity. She is wisdom and work. Faith and follow-through. She builds, nurtures, provides, leads, and extends her hands to others.
