From the moment I held my first camera, I was hooked. The satisfying click, the peel of the paper, and the sudden appearance of a captured memory – it was magic. That childhood spark ignited a passion that has grown into Fayla Photography.

I'm Felicia (Fayla) — a veteran, a photographer, and a writer with a background in marketing and advertising that shapes how I bring a vision to life, from the first shoot to the final published story. I'm dedicated to capturing the essence and personality of my clients, creating timeless photographs that reflect the beauty I see through my lens.

I believe photographs can tell a story and evoke an emotion — but I also believe some stories need more room than a single image can give them. That belief became Fayla Photography Presents: Through Her Lens, an ongoing series honoring people through what I witness in them — each portrait styled like a magazine cover. Past editions honored Women's History Month, as well as men and fathers leading up to Father's Day. This October, I'll be launching a new edition — Through Her Lens: Breast Cancer Survivor's Edition — honoring the resilience, strength, hope, and beauty of breast cancer survivors across Texas as they share their own words alongside their portraits.
